Carpentry
Most exterior jobs start out as painting jobs but are truly
carpentry jobs. We now have a carpentry team. Do not tell just anybody about that!
We are not a handy man service, i.e. do small jobs.
We rebuilt a front portico on a home in McLean. It cost $8,000 to paint the trim on the
all-brick home, but another $17,000 to rebuild the front portico with synthetic woods so
it would not rot out again. We are committed to figuring out the cause of the rotten wood
not just replacing it with the same old cheap wood.
We installed 5 new basement windows in an Arlington house for a lady in her mid 80's who
has been trying for years to get that project done. While we were painting the exterior,
we did the basement windows. Then she hired us to install new storm windows.
Pull and Replace
We can "Pull & Replace" 25-30 year old bathrooms.
We did 4 bathrooms in a townhouse in Annandale at a cost of $30,000. That is cheap when it
can take $30,000 bare minimum to get a design/build renovated kitchen. We are not in the
"Build/Design" business, but we can pull and replace bathrooms. What this
typically involves is working within the existing design to upgrade old fixtures and
flooring at a fraction of the cost to design and build.
